Baseball Recap: Argonaut Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses at Home

The Argonaut Mustangs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Rosemont Wolverines on Tuesday.

The team relied heavily on Clayton Hardy, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Marcus Scaife, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base.

Argonaut's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-11. As for Rosemont, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-16-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Argonaut beat the Wolverines by a score of 10-2 on Thursday.
