Basketball Game Preview: Coffee Trojans vs. Veterans Warhawks

Having just played yesterday, the Coffee Trojans will jump right back in to play the Veterans Warhawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Coffee will be looking to extend their current 14-game winning streak.

On Thursday, everything came up roses for Coffee against Northside as the squad secured a 55-15 victory. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 19 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Veterans entered their tilt with Lee County on Thursday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They strolled past the Trojans with points to spare, taking the game 51-33.

Veterans' win bumped their record up to 18-8. As for Coffee, their victory bumped their record up to 25-1.

Coffee barely slipped by Veterans when the teams last played back in January, winning 63-62. The rematch might be a little tougher for Coffee since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
