Volleyball Recap: Lafayette Takes a Loss

Lafayette was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bishop LeBlond Eagles. If the Fighting Irish were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Eagles when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-14.

Lafayette's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Bishop LeBlond, their victory bumped their record up to 16-2-1.

Lafayette didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Oak Grove on the 4th. As for Bishop LeBlond, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against East Buchanan on the 4th.
