With a playoff win on the line, Tappan Zee rose to the challenge on Saturday. They came out on top against the Rye Garnets by a score of 44-32. This was a revenge game for the Dutchmen: when they faced off against the Garnets back in February, they had to take a 47-38 defeat.

Tappan Zee has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season. Rye moved to 17-7 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Coming up, Tappan Zee will square off against Baldwin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive. Rye does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
