After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Academic Magnet, Timberland was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They skirted past the Andrews Yellowjackets 3-2. For the Wolves, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Yellowjackets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Timberland got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 17-25, 25-10, 20-25, 15-13.

The victory got Timberland back to even at 7-7. As for Andrews, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-8.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Timberland will challenge rival Philip Simmons at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Andrews is set to take on their familiar foe Burke at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
