Humboldt waltzed into their matchup on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the Webster City Lynx with a sharp 13-2 win. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by ten runs or more this season.

Humboldt's victory bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Webster City, they dropped their record down to 6-11-1 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Humboldt wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 22-7 loss against Fort Dodge on the 17th. Hopefully Webster City paid attention to the Wildcats' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Wildcats on Wednesday.
