Basketball Recap: Omaha Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Omaha Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Weeping Water Indians, falling 64-11. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-7.

Mari Keuck was Omaha Christian Academy's leading scorer, having posted five points. Emma Wheelock held things down on the boards with eight rebounds.

It was another big night for Kalison Miller, who went 8 of 11 on her way to 15 points and six steals for Weeping Water. With that strong performance, Miller is now averaging an impressive 2.8 steals per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Brinkley Mcadams, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds.

Omaha Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Weeping Water, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Omaha Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 0-0 loss against Cedar Bluffs on the 19th. As for Weeping Water, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 31-29 defeat against Louisville on the 17th.
