Shady Spring entered their tilt with Bluefield on Monday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They put the hurt on the Beavers with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Shady Spring took every set by at least 16 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-9, 25-5.

Alivia Stover paced Shady Spring's offense, picking up 16 kills. Stover got some help from Reagan Mann and her 20 assists. Bristol Bloomfield controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Shady Spring's victory bumped their record up to 26-7-1. As for Bluefield, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-13-1.
