The Bluffton Tigers will venture away from home to take on the Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian Braves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bluffton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 38.4 points per game this season.
Bluffton is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest defeat since October 25, 2024 on Friday. They were beaten by Adams Central 47-17. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Tigers' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.
Despite the loss, Bluffton had strong showings from Axton Beste, who threw for 151 yards and a pair of TDs, and Cooper Craig, who gained 119 total yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 56-28 loss at the hands of Monroe Central. The Braves were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-14.
Bluffton will need to focus on slowing down Max Warner, one of several Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian players who made an impact when they last played. He threw for 240 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.4 yards per attempt. Dylan Grimes was Warner's top target, picking up 122 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
Having lost for the first time this season, Bluffton fell to 7-1. As for Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

It's a different story for Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian, though, as they've been averaging only 240.9 total yards. Everything came up roses for Bluffton against Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian in their previous meeting back in August of 2024, as the squad secured a 39-6 win.
