Volleyball Recap: Reedley Takes a Loss

Reedley lost against Central back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Reedley took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Central.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 18-25, 25-20, 25-16.

Jared Bonds paced Reedley's offense, picking up 16 kills. Bonds got some help from Adrian Vargas and his 39 assists. Finally, Bonds was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Reedley's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Central, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Reedley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Hoover on the 14th. As for Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Sanger West on the 14th.
