Aspire Langston Hughes Academy's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Humphreys Able Charter Legacy. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-1 back in January.

Aspire Langston Hughes Academy hit Humphreys Able Charter with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Agustin Castaneyra, Andy Contreras, and Cristobal Saucedo.

Aspire Langston Hughes Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-8-1. As for Humphreys Able Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Aspire Langston Hughes Academy will square off against Vanguard College Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Humphreys Able Charter, they will challenge Ben Holt College Prep Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Humphreys Able Charter's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
