Softball Recap: Kearns Takes a Loss

Kearns lost against Taylorsville two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cougars came up short against the Warriors, falling 19-3. The Cougars' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Kearns saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rami Hasna, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Alexandria Caro also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

Kearns' defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Taylorsville, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Kearns is set to take on their familiar foe Cyprus at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Taylorsville will square off against rival Granger at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
