Volleyball Recap: Pilgrim's Losing Streak Snapped at Ten Games

Pilgrim came into Friday's match having lost ten straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Exeter-West Greenwich Scarlet Knights by a score of 3-1 on Friday.

Pilgrim had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 0-25, 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Pilgrim's win bumped their record up to 3-11. As for Exeter-West Greenwich, they dropped their record down to 0-9 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Pilgrim will venture away from home to face off against Lincoln at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Exeter-West Greenwich, they will host Mt. Pleasant at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Scarlet Knights are facing the Kilties at the right time seeing as the Kilties are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
