Volleyball Recap: Kennedy Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Kennedy faced off against West Park on Tuesday. The Cougars lost 3-0 to the Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-15, 25-18.

When it comes to explaining why Kennedy lost, don't look at Troy Vue. Despite the final result, he had seven digs and two blocks. Vue is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 16 or more in each of the last ten games he's played. Christler Cee also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Vince Sison was the offensive standout of the match as he had five digs and five assists. Those five assists gave him a new career-high.

Kennedy now has a losing record of 9-10. As for West Park, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season.

Kennedy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Grant on the 24th. As for West Park, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Cordova on the 24th.
