Football Recap: Roselle Comes Up Short

Roselle came into this matchup off a tough 24-point defeat last Saturday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Delaware Valley Terriers by a score of 21-18 on Friday. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Terriers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Roselle's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Delaware Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

Coming up, Roselle will head out to take on J.P. Stevens at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rams will be up against the Hawks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 45 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Delaware Valley, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against New Providence at 7:00 p.m. The Pioneers' defense has only allowed 9.1 points per game this season, so the Terriers' offense will have their work cut out for them.
