Baseball Recap: Evansville North's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak at Home

Evansville North suffered their closest defeat since April 27, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Barr-Reeve Vikings by a score of 5-3.

Chad Mullinax made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole four bases while going 2-for-4. Those stolen bases were his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of AJ Baggett, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Evansville North's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2. As for Barr-Reeve, the win keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

Looking ahead, Evansville North will challenge Terre Haute South Vigo at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Barr-Reeve, they will square off against Springs Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
