Volleyball Recap: Mt. Zion Gets the Win

Mt. Zion saw some tournament action on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Glenbard South Raiders 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Braves.

Mt. Zion had a senior duo take command as Addy Rotz had 17 digs and three assists and Ty Ball had 16 assists and six digs. Rotz has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more digs the last four times she's played.

Mt. Zion's victory bumped their record up to 16-11. As for Glenbard South, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-12 record this season.

Mt. Zion wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Peoria Notre Dame on the 10th. As for Glenbard South, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Herscher on the 11th.
