League recap: Barrow dominating on the mound for Burleson

Burleson's Seth Barrow was the best pitcher in 4A Region I District 8 this week. He racked up ten strike outs this week.

Joshua outpaced the rest of the league this week, as its three total wins led the league. The Owls beat Western Hills 9-6.

The Elks' pitching staff had a strong showing this week, allowing only 27 hits and 15 walks, both of which led the league.

Burleson's Barrow destroyed 4A Region I District 8 pitching this week while leading the league in average, hits and runs batted in. Barrow feasted on opponents pitching with a .545 average and four RBIs thanks to six hits.

Sam Greenberg hit one home run this week.



C.j. Karber struck out nine in Joshua's 9-6 win over the Cougars on March 8. Over six innings of work, he gave up six hits and six runs.
