Volleyball Recap: Sacred Heart Takes a Loss

Sacred Heart was the 3-0 winner over Forestburg when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Longhorns on Tuesday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Sacred Heart was not able to win a set, they sure kept things interesting: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-23, 25-22.

Sacred Heart's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Forestburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sacred Heart will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Harvest Christian at 7:00 p.m. on September 4. As for Forestburg, they will challenge Victory Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
