Volleyball Recap: Hanahan Wins Going Away Against Military Magnet Academy

Hanahan won the last time they faced Military Magnet Academy and things went their way on Monday too. The Hawks blew past the Eagles 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Hanahan took every set by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-4, 25-11, 25-4.

Makenna Gallus paced Hanahan's offense, picking up six kills. Gallus got some help from Juliette Owens and her 16 assists. Owens was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 11 aces.

Hanahan's win bumped their record up to 9-12-2. As for Military Magnet Academy, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-10-1.

Hanahan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against North Charleston on the 7th. Military Magnet Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
