Basketball Recap: Floyd County Comes Up Short

Floyd County lost against Spotswood back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Floyd County Buffaloes had to suffer through a 67-32 loss at the hands of the Spotswood Trailblazers. The Buffaloes were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-15.

This is the second loss in a row for Floyd County and nudges their season record down to 3-12. As for Spotswood, they pushed their record up to 13-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Floyd County will venture away from home to face off against Patrick County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Spotswood, they will host East Rockingham at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Rockingham will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Spotswood surely won't give up without a fight.
