There's no place like home for Folsom, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 win over the Oak Ridge Trojans on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Trojans last Thursday, they had to take a 1-0 defeat.

Folsom's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Logan Hutton, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Chase Morton also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Folsom's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-11. As for Oak Ridge, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Folsom will challenge rival Granite Bay at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Oak Ridge is set to square off against their familiar foe Whitney at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
