Basketball Recap: Miles Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Miles couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They were dealt a 76-44 defeat at the hands of the Gruver Greyhounds on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 664th, while the Greyhounds are ranked 140th).

Miles' loss dropped their record down to 19-8. As for Gruver, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 19-1.

As of now, neither Miles nor Gruver have any future games scheduled.
