Basketball Recap: Chippewa Finds Playoff Glory Versus Tuslaw

With a playoff win on the line, Chippewa rose to the challenge on Saturday. They managed a 45-41 win over the Tuslaw Mustangs. That's two games straight that the Chipps have won by exactly four points.

When it comes to explaining why Tuslaw lost, don't look at Destiny Dulkoski. Despite the final result, she posted 15 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Malia Mizeres, who earned ten points and six boards.

Chippewa has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.2 points over those games. Tuslaw's defeat dropped their record down to 17-7.

Looking ahead, Chippewa will square off against Norwayne at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Norwayne will roll in looking for their 16th straight victory, something Chippewa surely won't give up without a fight. Tuslaw does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
