Volleyball Recap: Columbia Takes a Loss

Columbia suffered their biggest defeat since November 1, 2024 on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Mountain View Mavericks. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Mavericks when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Columbia was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-23, 25-12.

Columbia's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Mountain View, they now have a winning record of 5-4-2.

Coincidentally, Columbia and Mountain View will both be playing Melba the next time they take the court. The Mavericks will head out to face the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
