Football Recap: Gage Hale's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Logan-Rogersville over West Plains

Logan-Rogersville lost against West Plains back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats took a hard 55-41 fall against the Zizzers. The loss was the Wildcats' first of the season.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Gage Hale, who picked up 191 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Hale's receiving production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 127 receiving yards. Another signal caller making a difference was Sam Frieze, who threw for 277 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per attempt.

Having lost for the first time this season, Logan-Rogersville fell to 4-1. As for West Plains, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Logan-Rogersville will take on rival Hillcrest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, West Plains is set to face off against their familiar foe Bolivar at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
