Fairhope had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 55-22 win over the Spanish Fort Toros. The victory continues a trend for the Pirates in their matchups with the Toros: they've now won three in a row.

Spanish Fort dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
