Baseball Recap: Durand/Pecatonica Takes a Loss

After soaring to 14 runs the game before, Durand/Pecatonica was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They lost 16-1 to the Dakota Indians. The Rivermen were not able to make up for their loss to the Indians from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Durand/Pecatonica has also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season. As for Dakota, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Durand/Pecatonica will head out to face off against Lena-Winslow at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dakota, they will venture away from home to square off against East Dubuque at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight.
