Volleyball Recap: Regan Wilson and Alexa Sweet Secure Win for Fruitport + How To Watch

Fruitport had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt NorthPointe Christian on Thursday. The Trojans put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won four in a row.

Fruitport was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-18, 25-16.

Leading Fruitport to victory were Alexa Sweet and Regan Wilson. Sweet had 13 digs and ten assists, while Wilson had 11 digs and two aces. The dominant performance also gave Wilson a new career-high in assists (six).

Fruitport's victory bumped their record up to 21-10-1. As for NorthPointe Christian, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 9-15.
