Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, St. Edward struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only two offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Osceola pulled down 20.
Osceola's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Emma Recker, who scored 16 points along with 4 steals. Another player making a difference was Bella Recker, who scored 12 points along with 4 steals.
St. Edward's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Osceola, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
St. Edward will head out on the road to face off against Nebraska Lutheran at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Osceola won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Exeter-Milligan/Friend at 6:00 p.m. on December 1st.
