East Lansing came tearing into Saturday's contest with 22 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20 points), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by a 66-46 margin over the Wayne Memorial Zebras. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 games by 20 points or more this season.

East Lansing's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cameron Hutson, who went 8-for-19 on his way to 20 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kingston (KT) Thomas, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 12 boards.

East Lansing was working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wayne Memorial only four assists.

Wayne Memorial's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaylohn Allen, who posted 14 points. Carlos Medlock Jr was another key player, putting up 14 points.

East Lansing pushed their record up to 28-1 with the victory, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Wayne Memorial, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 25-4.
