Football Recap: Wahluke Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Wahluke was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 12-9 heartbreaker at the hands of the Wapato Wolves. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolves apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Wahluke's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Wapato, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Wahluke is set to square off against their familiar foe Kiona-Benton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Wapato will take on rival Zillah at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
