Softball Recap: Heritage Takes a Loss

Heritage lost against Prairie back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Timberwolves took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons. The Timberwolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Heritage saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kylie Thomas, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Heritage's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-5. As for Prairie, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Heritage will host Camas at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Timberwolves are facing the Papermakers at the right time seeing as the Papermakers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Prairie, they will square off against Yelm at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
