Sheldon fell victim to Rodriguez and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 10-0 to the Mustangs. The defeat continues a trend for the Huskies in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost five in a row.

Sheldon now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Rodriguez, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-4.

Looking ahead, Sheldon will host Cosumnes Oaks at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Sheldon's pitchers better be ready for this one: Cosumnes Oaks has averaged an impressive 8.8 runs per game this season. As for Rodriguez, they will head out on the road to face off against River City at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. River City's pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so Rodriguez's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
