Basketball Recap: Cody Comes Up Short

Cody lost against Denby back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cody Comets fell 27-15 to the Denby Tars. The Comets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cody's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Denby, they pushed their record up to 6-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cody will take on Crockett Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Denby, they will challenge Communication Media Arts at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Denby's defense has only allowed 29.6 points per game this season, so Communication Media Arts' offense will have their work cut out for them.
