Lima Senior had won two straight home games  and  Ja'Niaus Avanti K'Mere Hall did his part to make it three on Friday. The Spartans claimed a resounding  45-9 win over the Bowsher BlueRacers with plenty of help from  Avanti K'Mere Hall, who threw for 402 yards and four  TDs while completing 71.1% of his passes, and also rushed for 44 yards and one  score. He has become a key player for Lima Senior: the team is undefeated when he posts  at  least  250  passing yards, but 1-2 otherwise.
 Lima Senior didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Carmelo Mays and  Jay Jones. Jones is  on a roll when it comes to  interceptions, as he's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last three games he's  played. Mays got in on the action too, converting a pick  into a touchdown.
Lima Senior's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Bowsher, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
 We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lima Senior is set to  square off against  their familiar foe Waite  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile, Bowsher will  face off against  rival Start  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
