Softball Recap: Marbury Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Marbury's offense. They fell 3-0 to the Alabama Christian Academy Eagles on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost four in a row.

Marbury's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Alabama Christian Academy, they moved to 11-12 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Coming up, Marbury will host Bibb County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Alabama Christian Academy, they will challenge Trinity Presbyterian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 7.9 runs per game this season.
