Softball Recap: Cannon County Lions vs. Cascade Champions        
        
		
            
 After flying high against Grundy County  last Monday, Cannon County came back down to earth. The Cannon County Lions fell  11-7 to the Cascade Champions on Thursday. Cannon County was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Cascade apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  last Wednesday.
  Alyssa Calamia made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Kennedi Clark, who  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
 On Cascade's side,  Kyndal Bolden and  Claire Perry did most of the damage at the plate:  Bolden  scored two  runs while going 1-for-3, while  Perry  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.
 Cannon County's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Cascade, their victory  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 4-12.
 As of now, neither Cannon County nor Cascade have any future games scheduled.
