Volleyball Game Preview: Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn Hawks vs. Trinity Christian Tigers

The Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn Hawks will venture away from home to square off against the Trinity Christian Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn has now lost seven straight dating back to last season, leaving the team hunting for their first win since October 15.

Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn lost 3-0 to South O'Brien on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Trinity Christian posted their closest victory since September 28, 2024 on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Harris-Lake Park 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won six in a row.

Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Trinity Christian, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn skirted past Trinity Christian 3-2 when the teams last played back in September of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hawks since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
