Volleyball Recap: Hall Red Devils vs. Princeton Tigers
Hall was the 2-0 winner over Princeton when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Red Devils fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday.
In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Hall sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 22-25, 25-14.
Kaitlyn Coutts paced Hall's offense, picking up seven kills. Coutts got some help from Emma McCook and her seven assists. Finally, Natalia Zamora kept Hall's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.
Hall has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. As for Princeton, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.
Hall will take on Midland at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Princeton, they will square off against Ottawa at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
