Volleyball Recap: Commerce Triumphs

Commerce won the last time they faced Johnson and things went their way on Thursday too. The Tigers walked away with a 2-0 win over the Knights. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Commerce found their leader in freshman Olivia Hudson, who had six digs and two aces. Claire Hollars also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Commerce was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Commerce's victory bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Johnson, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Commerce wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against West Hall on the 28th. After both having extra time off, Johnson and North Hall will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 8:00 a.m. on the 6th.
