Volleyball Recap: New Glarus Takes a Loss

New Glarus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Darlington Redbirds. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Glarner Knights of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

New Glarus' defeat dropped their record down to 8-20. As for Darlington, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-13 record this season.

New Glarus wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Wisconsin Heights on the 18th. As for Darlington, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Platteville on the 18th.
