Basketball Recap: Atholton Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Long Reach came into Friday's contest looking for another win against Atholton, but Bryce Inabinet wouldn't allow it. The Atholton Raiders secured a 59-54 W over the Long Reach Lightning on Friday thanks in part to Inabinet, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds. He has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 12 times he's played.

Mike Davis was another key player, going 5 for 8 en route to 14 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Atholton's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-6. As for Long Reach, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.

Atholton will be playing in front of their home fans against Glenelg at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Long Reach, they are taking a road trip to take on Howard on Wednesday.
