Volleyball Game Preview: Amphitheater Panthers vs. Sahuarita Mustangs + How To Watch

For the first time this season, Amphitheater will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will head out on the road to take on the Sahuarita Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Sahuarita took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Amphitheater, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Amphitheater got the win against Palo Verde by a conclusive 3-0. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Sahuarita was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Omaha Northwest.

Sahuarita's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Amphitheater, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.

Amphitheater might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Sahuarita in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
