Basketball Recap: Athens Christian Preparatory Academy Falls Despite Big Games from Trinity Williams and Kiley Normandin

Athens Christian Preparatory Academy's game on Tuesday was all tied up 20-20 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 43-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Regents Academy Eagles. The Storm just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Athens Christian Preparatory Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Kiley Normandin and Trinity Williams. Normandin posted 14 points in addition to eight boards and eight blocks, while Williams went 5-for-8 en route to 11 points. Normandin is crushing it when it comes to blocks: she's posted at least three every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Fowler, who scored two points and three steals.

Athens Christian Preparatory Academy's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Regents Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.
