The home team had won the previous three meetings between Kings Christian and Wonderful College Prep Academy, and Wonderful College Prep Academy kept the tradition alive. The Crusaders fell just short of the Lions by a score of  3-2 on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Lions this season,  with their most recent  loss being a  2-0  defeat  on October 4th.
 Kings Christian took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-14, 22-25, 25-23,  15-10.
 Avery Mathis paced Kings Christian's offense, picking up 13 kills. Mathis got some help from  Bobbi Vickers and her 23 assists.  Katie Sparks and  Abigail Adams kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.
 Leading Wonderful College Prep Academy to victory were  Genesis Ortez and  Valeria Juarez.  Ortez  had 24  digs and five  aces, while  Juarez  had ten  digs and eight  aces. That's the most  aces  Ortez has posted since back in September.
Kings Christian's loss dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Wonderful College Prep Academy, their win was  their fifth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 14-15.
 Kings Christian has already played their next contest,  a  3-0  victory against Riverdale Christian on the 23rd. As for Wonderful College Prep Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  matchup,  a  3-0  defeat against Legacy Christian Academy on the 23rd.
