Basketball Recap: Woodbridge Takes a Loss

Woodbridge was the 68-51 winner over Delaware Military Academy when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Woodbridge Raiders were beaten by the Delaware Military Academy Seahawks 48-17 on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Delaware basketball rankings (they are ranked 51st, while the Seahawks are ranked seventh).

Woodbridge's defeat dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Delaware Military Academy, they pushed their record up to 15-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

Woodbridge has already played their next matchup (against Early College), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Delaware Military Academy, they will welcome Conrad Science at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
