There's no place like home for Cook, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They escaped with a win on Tuesday against the Crisp County Cougars by the margin of a single free throw, 36-35. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 40-31 two weeks ago.

Despite the loss, Crisp County still got an impressive performance from Miranda Moore, who posted four points along with 12 rebounds and six blocks. Moore is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted three or more in the last eight games she's played. Another player making a difference was Mariyah Chambers, who earned seven points.

Cook's win bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Crisp County, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.
