            Softball Recap: Bothell Cougars vs. Juanita Ravens        
        
		
        
        
            Bothell extended their losing streak  to four  on Friday, dropping their season record down to 7-11 in the process. They took  a  12-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Juanita Ravens. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Ravens this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  10-2  back in March.
  Kolbi Schmer and  Noelle Solvang did some serious damage despite the final result:  Schmer  went 3-for-4 with one  home run and three  RBI, while  Solvang  went 2-for-4 with one  home run and three  RBI. That  home run marked the first that  Solvang has  launched this season.  Hadley Smith was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI.
As for Juanita, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record  this season. That's two games straight that they have won by  exactly three  runs.
 On Juanita's side,  Calista Labugen was  incredible,  getting on base  in all five of her plate appearances with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and three  RBI. Those  three  RBI gave  Labugen a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Molly Benson, who  went 1-for-2 with two  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bothell will host Liberty  at 6:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Juanita, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Issaquah  at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Ravens have won three straight at home, while the Eagles won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
