Basketball Game Preview: Gravette Lions vs. Green Forest Tigers

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Gravette Lions face off against the Green Forest Tigers at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday... Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Friday, Gravette came up short against Pea Ridge and fell 52-41. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Blackhawks recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Green Forest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against Pea Ridge, falling 72-46.

Gravette will need focus on slowing down Zak Watson, one of several Green Forest players who made an impact when they last played. He went 7 for 16 on his way to 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Collin Atchison, who posted 12 points in addition to six assists and five boards.

Gravette now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Green Forest, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.
